  • After a consultation, with the given detail an estimate will be sent for your approval with a contract attached.  Upon approval, we process the 40% retainer fee. Once the retainer fee and contract are taken care of, you're all set!

  • Rate/Price are determined by multiple factors based on the project (I.E. Lighting, Audio, Location, Crew, etc..) Consultations determine which services might best meet the needs. Your budget request is to assure the budget, services, and goals are congruent.

    Simply giving a price for service without having a consultation to discuss the unique needs of the project, goals, and vision would not be a good service.

  • We deliver all videos via a free online downloadable link such as Google Drive & Dropbox (no account is required to download videos from there) as MP4s or MOVs.  You can take an MP4/MOV and copy it to your own thumb drives, cloud, or social media.  It’s recommended formatting the drive for ExFat (so it will work on most platforms... MAC, PC, and most TVs). DVD, thumb drive, and SSD drive are not provided options

  • This can vary, but normally turn around time can be 9-14 days for the basic film and edits and 3-6 weeks for more sophisticated projects. Sometimes It’s a lot quicker, but it just depends on where in the year the project or wedding lands and the amount of backlog. The amount of revision ordered also determines the turn around time.

  • Bassett Film Co. LLC ( BFilmCo.) doesn’t provide RAW files. BFilmCo aims to provide only the best work. RAW files are unfinished/ unedited and therefore are not an accurate representation of Bassett Film Co. LLC.

    Unlike JPGs which are a universal file format, you can’t upload and share RAW files easily as they take up a lot of space and can be accessed or opened only by a required select few software programs RAW files are 5 times larger than JPEG files. Furthermore, unlike JPEG files, which are automatically processed in a camera, RAW format captures data with the intent of processing and editing to make a final image. It does not represent what is seen with the natural eye.

    RAW files are a form of negatives owned by the shooter (Bassett Film Co. LLC) per copyright laws. Even when a shooter is being commissioned, the client always pays for the final product such as JPG or TIFF, and not the original image itself.
